How to interpret Spain business data

Choose the geographic level that matches the territory

Territorial selection should use autonomous communities or autonomous cities, provinces where applicable, and municipalities or localities. Official place names can change, so the file's update date helps buyers interpret its geographic coverage.

Relacion de municipios, provincias, comunidades autonomas y sus codigos

The CSV is separate from the official business register

A SphereScout row is a public business or location profile, not a Mercantile Register extract or DIRCE record. The file contains available contact, category, and location data, but currently does not include NIF, register entries, CNAE code, legal form, company officers, employee count, or turnover.

Using business contacts in Spain

Buying or publicly finding an address does not authorize advertising by email, SMS, or messaging. Spain's LSSI requires the communication to have been requested or expressly authorized, apart from the limited exception for existing customers, lawfully obtained details, and the sender's own similar products or services.

  • Do not infer commercial-email authorization from publication or purchase of an address.
  • Retain evidence of the request or express authorization, or document that every condition of the existing-customer exception is met.
  • Identify the sender and the message's commercial nature clearly.
  • Include a simple, free objection or consent-withdrawal route in every communication.
  • Apply opt-outs immediately and maintain a reliable suppression list.

For commercial calls, document consent or the legitimate-interest basis and consult advertising-exclusion systems when required. A sole trader's or professional's details may be used for a call aimed exclusively at their business or professional activity, not for unrelated offers; state the right to object at the start of the call.

How SphereScout prepares this business contact CSV

SphereScout turns public business profiles into a category-and-location export. The process uses the business categories shown in the current page breakdown and keeps official registers, classifications, licences, and inspections separate from the file.

  1. 1

    Match the displayed business categories

SphereScout selects public business profiles matching the categories shown in the current page breakdown. These labels define the file's scope but do not replace official activity codes or authorizations.

  2. 2

    Structure available public details

SphereScout organizes the available business name, category, location, website, email, phone, and public profile fields, then normalizes and deduplicates contact values for export.

  3. 3

Publish coverage and deliver the CSV

SphereScout refreshes public business profiles regularly, publishes the latest collection date and available coverage totals, and delivers the selected records as a structured CSV.

Questions before choosing a list for Spain

Can I buy a business email list for Spain by industry?

Yes. Each industry row shows the current business count, the number of businesses with email, a masked sample and the one-time price when available. Open one file or use the custom builder to combine business categories.

Does every Spanish business profile include an email address?

No. Public email availability varies by industry and business profile. The comparison table shows both the number of businesses with at least one email and their share of all businesses in each file.

Can I narrow a list for Spain by location?

Use the custom builder when territory matters. Depending on the public profile, available fields can include autonomous community or autonomous city, province where applicable and municipality or locality.

Does the Spain CSV include official registration numbers or activity codes?

No. The CSV does not include NIF tax identification numbers or CNAE activity codes. Legal form, registration status, employee counts and revenue are also outside its scope.

Does buying the file authorize marketing in Spain?

Buying or publicly finding an address does not authorize advertising by email, SMS, or messaging. Spain's LSSI requires the communication to have been requested or expressly authorized, apart from the limited exception for existing customers, lawfully obtained details, and the sender's own similar products or services.

How do I receive the file after payment?

Once payment is confirmed, SphereScout prepares your CSV and emails a download link to the address entered at checkout.

Is this a subscription? Are updates included?

No. The listed price is a one-time payment for the file described at checkout. It does not include future updates unless explicitly stated. Platform subscriptions are separate.

Do the email counts guarantee delivery?

No. They count addresses present in the data, not successful deliveries or inbox placements. The percentage of businesses with email is not a deliverability rate.
