How to interpret Thailand business data

Choose the geographic level that matches the territory

Plan Thailand through Bangkok and the 76 provinces, then use district, subdistrict, municipality, city, locality, street, and postcode values where available. Government agencies use different regional groupings, so province and actual service radius are more reliable sales fields than assuming one universal region model.

Statistical Yearbook Thailand 2025: public administration

The CSV is separate from the official business register

The CSV contains available public venue identity, category, place, website, social-link, email, and telephone fields. It does not provide a DBD registration number or status, legal form, registered capital, TSIC, food or local licence, operator identity, staff size, turnover, named decision-maker, rating history, or proof of marketing permission.

Using business contacts in Thailand

Thailand's PDPA covers information that identifies a natural person. Information about a company that does not identify a person falls outside that definition. When a mailbox, mobile number, or other field identifies a person, document an applicable basis before using it; legitimate interests can be considered only after necessity and rights are balanced. Indirectly collected personal data triggers notice duties, and a direct-marketing objection requires the controller to stop using that data for the purpose. A public profile, DBD match, generic inbox, or purchased file does not complete that assessment for the buyer.

  • Separate information that identifies only a company from names, personal mobile numbers, sole-proprietor details, and person-linked inboxes before campaign use.
  • For person-linked data, record the purpose and lawful basis. If relying on legitimate interests, document necessity, reasonable expectations, likely impact, and safeguards rather than treating B2B relevance as automatic approval.
  • When personal data was obtained indirectly, provide the Section 23 information within the applicable Section 25 timing, including at first communication when contact happens sooner.
  • Keep targeting relevant and proportionate, identify the sender and purpose clearly, minimize retained fields, and maintain accurate source and suppression records.
  • Stop collecting, using, or disclosing personal data for direct marketing as soon as the person objects. Screen every later file against that suppression state.

A telephone number in the file is not permission to call. Determine whether it identifies only a company or is linked to a person, apply the relevant privacy and channel rules, state who is calling, and suppress objections across future calls and messages.

Classify contact data before outreach

Classify contact data before outreachWhat the record showsPractical treatment
Contact that identifies only a companyThe record identifies a company or business location and uses a role contact that does not identify a natural person. The PDPA's personal-data provisions do not apply when the information identifies only a company. Keep the offer relevant, identify the sender, provide an easy refusal route, and check any other rule that applies to the chosen channel.
Person-linked business contactA name, sole-proprietor record, personal mobile, or mailbox allows a natural person to be identified directly or indirectly.Document the lawful basis, balancing and notice before use; minimize the record and stop direct marketing immediately after an objection.
Ownership unresolvedThe business, operator, domain, mailbox, or phone cannot be classified confidently from the available evidence.Verify the route or treat it as person-linked before direct marketing. Domain type and DBD matching are evidence, not a substitute for classification.

How SphereScout prepares this business contact CSV

SphereScout turns public business profiles into a category-and-location export. The process uses the business categories shown in the current page breakdown and keeps official registers, classifications, licences, and inspections separate from the file.

  1. 1

    Match the displayed business categories

SphereScout selects public business profiles matching the categories shown in the current page breakdown. These labels define the file's scope but do not replace official activity codes or authorizations.

  2. 2

    Structure available public details

SphereScout organizes the available business name, category, location, website, email, phone, and public profile fields, then normalizes and deduplicates contact values for export.

  3. 3

Publish coverage and deliver the CSV

SphereScout refreshes public business profiles regularly, publishes the latest collection date and available coverage totals, and delivers the selected records as a structured CSV.

Questions before choosing a list for Thailand

Can I buy a business email list for Thailand by industry?

Yes. Each industry row shows the current business count, the number of businesses with email, a masked sample and the one-time price when available. Open one file or use the custom builder to combine business categories.

Does every Thai business profile include an email address?

No. Public email availability varies by industry and business profile. The comparison table shows both the number of businesses with at least one email and their share of all businesses in each file.

Can I narrow a list for Thailand by location?

Use the custom builder when territory matters. Depending on the public profile, available fields can include Bangkok special administrative area or one of 76 provinces, district, with Bangkok districts handled under its separate local structure and subdistrict, municipality, city, town, village, street address, or postcode locality.

Does the Thailand CSV include official registration numbers or activity codes?

No. A row represents a public business or location profile. The current export does not include 13-digit juristic-person registration number or the applicable commercial registration identifier, TSIC activity code, legal form, register status, employee count or revenue.

Does buying the file authorize marketing in Thailand?

Thailand's PDPA covers information that identifies a natural person. Information about a company that does not identify a person falls outside that definition. When a mailbox, mobile number, or other field identifies a person, document an applicable basis before using it; legitimate interests can be considered only after necessity and rights are balanced. Indirectly collected personal data triggers notice duties, and a direct-marketing objection requires the controller to stop using that data for the purpose. A public profile, DBD match, generic inbox, or purchased file does not complete that assessment for the buyer.

How do I receive the file after payment?

Once payment is confirmed, SphereScout prepares your CSV and emails a download link to the address entered at checkout.

Is this a subscription? Are updates included?

No. The listed price is a one-time payment for the file described at checkout. It does not include future updates unless explicitly stated. Platform subscriptions are separate.

Do the email counts guarantee delivery?

No. They count addresses present in the data, not successful deliveries or inbox placements. The percentage of businesses with email is not a deliverability rate.
