How to interpret Slovakia business data

Choose the geographic level that matches the territory

Slovakia has 8 regions and 79 districts. Build territories from available region, district, municipality, city, borough, locality, address, and postcode values, but do not assume that every profile contains each administrative level as a normalized field.

The CSV is separate from the official business register

The CSV supplies available public contact, category, and location fields for business or venue profiles. It does not include IČO, legal form, register status, SK NACE, food-registration or inspection data, employees, turnover, named buyers, or consent records.

Register and identifier of legal entities and entrepreneurs

Using business contacts in Slovakia

Section 116 of Slovakia's Electronic Communications Act generally requires demonstrable prior consent for direct-marketing email, but expressly exempts marketing addressed to published contact details of a legal person or natural-person entrepreneur. The sender must be identifiable, provide a simple free refusal route, and respect refusals. GDPR remains a separate requirement whenever a record identifies a person.

  • Confirm that the address was published as the business contact of the legal person or natural-person entrepreneur you intend to approach; a purchased row or domain guess is not evidence of that fact.
  • Keep the message relevant to the recipient's business activity, identify the sender and address, and provide a simple, free way to refuse further messages in every email.
  • Do not send where the recipient has already refused. Maintain and apply a suppression list before every campaign.
  • For person-linked addresses, document the GDPR lawful basis, necessity and reasonable expectations, provide required information, minimize data, and stop direct marketing after an objection.
  • Treat unresolved ownership, stale profiles, ambiguous trading names, and personal webmail as records to verify, not as proof of either permission or prohibition.

Slovakia operates a separate direct-marketing calling regime and opt-out list. Before calls, apply the current number-list screening, caller-identification, timing, consent, and published-business-contact rules for that channel.

Classify the contact route before sending

Classify the contact route before sendingEvidenceTreatment
Published business contact confirmedThe current website or another reliable source ties the published address to the same legal person or natural-person entrepreneur and the proposed offer is relevant to that activity.Use the section 116 published-contact exception only within that evidenced scope, with sender identification, a free refusal route, GDPR handling where applicable, and suppression checks.
Consent or customer exception evidencedA retained demonstrable consent record, or every condition of the own-similar-products customer exception is documented.Send only within the recorded scope and preserve the evidence and opt-out history.
Status or publication unresolvedThe address comes only from a third-party file, the profile is stale, or ownership, recipient type, current publication, and prior objections cannot be confirmed.Verify or exclude before email. An IČO match identifies an entrepreneur or entity but does not prove ownership or publication of a particular inbox.

How SphereScout prepares this business contact CSV

SphereScout turns public business profiles into a category-and-location export. The process uses the business categories shown in the current page breakdown and keeps official registers, classifications, licences, and inspections separate from the file.

  1. 1

    Match the displayed business categories

SphereScout selects public business profiles matching the categories shown in the current page breakdown. These labels define the file's scope but do not replace official activity codes or authorizations.

  2. 2

    Structure available public details

SphereScout organizes the available business name, category, location, website, email, phone, and public profile fields, then normalizes and deduplicates contact values for export.

  3. 3

Publish coverage and deliver the CSV

SphereScout refreshes public business profiles regularly, publishes the latest collection date and available coverage totals, and delivers the selected records as a structured CSV.

Questions before choosing a list for Slovakia

Is this a list of every company registered in Slovakia?

No. SphereScout covers public business and operating-location profiles found in Slovakia. The industry table reports the current coverage in each downloadable file; it is not a complete company-register census.

Does every Slovak business profile include an email address?

No. Public email availability varies by industry and business profile. The comparison table shows both the number of businesses with at least one email and their share of all businesses in each file.

Can I narrow a list for Slovakia by location?

Use the custom builder when territory matters. Depending on the public profile, available fields can include region (kraj), district (okres) and municipality, city, borough, village, locality, or postcode area.

Does the Slovakia CSV include official registration numbers or activity codes?

No. A row represents a public business or location profile. The current export does not include organization identification number (IČO), SK NACE code, legal form, register status, employee count or revenue.

Does buying the file authorize marketing in Slovakia?

Section 116 of Slovakia's Electronic Communications Act generally requires demonstrable prior consent for direct-marketing email, but expressly exempts marketing addressed to published contact details of a legal person or natural-person entrepreneur. The sender must be identifiable, provide a simple free refusal route, and respect refusals. GDPR remains a separate requirement whenever a record identifies a person.

How do I receive the file after payment?

Once payment is confirmed, SphereScout prepares your CSV and emails a download link to the address entered at checkout.

Is this a subscription? Are updates included?

No. The listed price is a one-time payment for the file described at checkout. It does not include future updates unless explicitly stated. Platform subscriptions are separate.

Do the email counts guarantee delivery?

No. They count addresses present in the data, not successful deliveries or inbox placements. The percentage of businesses with email is not a deliverability rate.
