What does the Thailand restaurant business file contain?

This is a large public-venue dataset led by restaurants and coffee shops, then fast-food businesses, cafes, bars, pizzerias, breakfast venues, and smaller specialist formats. Telephone coverage is extensive; email is available for a much smaller subset and is reported separately rather than implied across the full file.

What one Thailand row represents

Each row describes a publicly listed restaurant, cafe, coffee shop, bar, quick-service business, or adjacent operating location. At an independent venue the public number will normally reach the proprietor or outlet team; a chain may route it elsewhere. The row is not a DBD juristic-person record, commercial-registration match, TSIC assignment, or named-owner contact.

National venue depth and available contact routes

General restaurants and coffee shops form the two largest groups, followed by fast food, cafes, bars, pizzerias, breakfast restaurants, burger venues, Italian restaurants, and the remaining formats shown in the live breakdown.

CSV columns filled from published venue details

National venue depth and available contact routes

What is not included in the purchase

  • Diners, bookings, orders, delivery customers, loyalty accounts, menu data, ratings, reviews, and footfall are outside the product.
  • Named owners, managers, chefs, buyers, franchisees, head-office roles, employee counts, turnover, and registered capital are not promised.
  • DBD or commercial registration numbers, legal form or status, TSIC, food or local licences, inspection data, and marketing-permission records are not supplied.

Build Bangkok, provincial, or route-based account lists

Pair venue format with available province, district, subdistrict, city, locality, street, and postcode fields. Separate Bangkok from its vicinity, tourist markets such as Phuket and Chon Buri, major regional cities, and the actual delivery or service radius. DBD status, TSIC, licence, revenue, employee count, rating, and review score are not filters in this CSV.

Split Thailand's restaurant universe into workable sales segments

A national file of this size needs operating-format segmentation before territory assignment. Coffee supply, takeaway packaging, beer distribution, kitchen service, and restaurant software each require a different category mix and qualification question.

Independent restaurants and local dining venues

Commercial fit

Ingredients, beverages, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, payments, cleaning, waste, pest control, maintenance, and delivery services.

How to select it

Use general restaurant as the broad base, then divide by province, locality, site evidence, and service radius

Coffee shops, cafes, and breakfast businesses

Commercial fit

Coffee and tea, machines, grinders, bakery supply, cups, display refrigeration, point of sale, furniture, and technical servicing.

How to select it

Combine coffee shop, cafe, breakfast, and selected patisserie records, then split dense urban markets from regional routes

Fast food, pizza, burgers, and delivery-led outlets

Commercial fit

Ordering systems, delivery integrations, packaging, fryers, ovens, extraction, compact refrigeration, payments, and workforce tools.

How to select it

Start with fast food and pizza, add burger and sandwich labels, and verify whether each outlet is independent, franchise, or chain-operated

Bars and bar-and-grill locations

Commercial fit

Beer, spirits, mixers, cooling, ice, glassware, entertainment, security, cleaning, payments, and late-hour repairs.

How to select it

Select bar and bar-and-grill records, then inspect the current site to distinguish drinking venues from food-led restaurants

Groups, malls, hotels, events, and catering opportunities

Commercial fit

Multi-site supply, equipment rollouts, corporate contracting, events, logistics, staffing, and partnership development.

How to select it

Use event, catering, website, address, and public-profile evidence; reconcile branches to an operator separately when group ownership matters

Use Thailand's contact mix for the channel it actually supports

Telephone reaches most listed venues, while email covers only a small share. Use all rows for territory design and account discovery, callable rows for qualification, and the email subset only after mailbox ownership, relevance, legal basis, notice, and suppression checks.

Food and beverage distributors

Recommended workflow

Create provincial delivery territories, divide restaurant, coffee, quick-service, and bar assortments, then call high-fit venues to qualify purchasing and delivery conditions.

Evidence to retain

Venue category, province, district or locality, address, postcode, website, and telephone

Equipment installers and field-service teams

Recommended workflow

Plot dense account clusters and service corridors, then confirm equipment relevance and outlet status before scheduling visits or allocating technicians.

Evidence to retain

Location fields, venue format, website, source profile, phone, and internal service-radius data

Restaurant software and payment vendors

Recommended workflow

Separate table service, coffee, quick service, bars, and groups so each pitch addresses its operating workflow rather than sending one generic hospitality message.

Evidence to retain

Category, website, social links, location, phone, and email where available

Teams using person-linked contacts

Recommended workflow

Classify whether each route is company-only or identifies a natural person, document the basis and indirect-source notice, and apply one objection list across calls and email.

Evidence to retain

Source URL, venue and operator evidence, contact type, purpose, lawful basis, notice date, and suppression status

How SphereScout prepares this business contact CSV

SphereScout turns public business profiles into a category-and-location export. The process uses the business categories shown in the current page breakdown and keeps official registers, classifications, licences, and inspections separate from the file.

  1. Match the displayed business categories

SphereScout selects public business profiles matching the categories shown in the current page breakdown. These labels define the file's scope but do not replace official activity codes or authorizations.

  2. Structure available public details

SphereScout organizes the available business name, category, location, website, email, phone, and public profile fields, then normalizes and deduplicates contact values for export.

  3. Publish coverage and deliver the CSV

SphereScout refreshes public business profiles regularly, publishes the latest collection date and available coverage totals, and delivers the selected records as a structured CSV.

Using business contacts in Thailand

Thailand's PDPA covers information that identifies a natural person. Information about a company that does not identify a person falls outside that definition. When a mailbox, mobile number, or other field identifies a person, document an applicable basis before using it; legitimate interests can be considered only after necessity and rights are balanced. Indirectly collected personal data triggers notice duties, and a direct-marketing objection requires the controller to stop using that data for the purpose. A public profile, DBD match, generic inbox, or purchased file does not complete that assessment for the buyer.

Read Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act
  • Separate information that identifies only a company from names, personal mobile numbers, sole-proprietor details, and person-linked inboxes before campaign use.
  • For person-linked data, record the purpose and lawful basis. If relying on legitimate interests, document necessity, reasonable expectations, likely impact, and safeguards rather than treating B2B relevance as automatic approval.
  • When personal data was obtained indirectly, provide the Section 23 information within the applicable Section 25 timing, including at first communication when contact happens sooner.
  • Keep targeting relevant and proportionate, identify the sender and purpose clearly, minimize retained fields, and maintain accurate source and suppression records.
  • Stop collecting, using, or disclosing personal data for direct marketing as soon as the person objects. Screen every later file against that suppression state.
  • A telephone number in the file is not permission to call. Determine whether it identifies only a company or is linked to a person, apply the relevant privacy and channel rules, state who is calling, and suppress objections across future calls and messages.

Classify contact data before outreach

Contact that identifies only a company
What the record showsThe record identifies a company or business location and uses a role contact that does not identify a natural person.
Practical treatmentThe PDPA's personal-data provisions do not apply when the information identifies only a company. Keep the offer relevant, identify the sender, provide an easy refusal route, and check any other rule that applies to the chosen channel.
Person-linked business contact
What the record showsA name, sole-proprietor record, personal mobile, or mailbox allows a natural person to be identified directly or indirectly.
Practical treatmentDocument the lawful basis, balancing and notice before use; minimize the record and stop direct marketing immediately after an objection.
Ownership unresolved
What the record showsThe business, operator, domain, mailbox, or phone cannot be classified confidently from the available evidence.
Practical treatmentVerify the route or treat it as person-linked before direct marketing. Domain type and DBD matching are evidence, not a substitute for classification.

Frequently Asked Questions

How broad is the Thailand restaurant list?
The live totals on this page are the authority. The current selection exceeds 200,000 public venue profiles and is much broader than a restaurant-email-only product because it includes restaurants, coffee shops, cafes, fast food, bars, pizza, breakfast, and adjacent formats from the live breakdown.
Does every Thailand restaurant row contain email?
No. Email is present on only a small subset, while telephone reaches most of the listed venues. The page reports all three totals separately so buyers can judge whether the file fits phone-led prospecting, field sales, or a narrower email workflow.
Can I filter Bangkok separately from other provinces?
Yes, using the available province or Bangkok area, district, city, locality, address, and postcode fields. Thailand has 76 provinces outside Bangkok, and Bangkok is a special local administrative area rather than another ordinary province in the same hierarchy.
Are restaurant owners, DBD numbers, ratings, or revenue included?
No. The product contains public venue and contact fields, not named owners or managers, DBD registration and status, TSIC, licences, registered capital, employees, turnover, ratings, reviews, or diner data.
Can the Thailand contact file be used for direct marketing?
The file is business prospecting data, not a permission list. Company-only venue data and personal data must be classified separately. When a natural person is identifiable, the buyer needs an applicable PDPA basis, indirect-source transparency where required, minimization, and an immediate stop after a direct-marketing objection.
