What can you do with the France restaurant file?

Use this file to find French restaurants, cafes, bars, caterers and event venues as commercial prospects. It contains public business contact routes, not customers, reservation guests or venue subscriber lists.

What one record represents

A row describes a public business or operating-location profile. Its email or phone can reach the venue, an office or a central team without guaranteeing a named owner. It is not a Sirene establishment record, APE code, alcohol licence or Alim'confiance inspection result.

Venues and details covered

How SphereScout prepares this business contact CSV

SphereScout turns public business profiles into a category-and-location export. The process uses the business categories shown in the current page breakdown and keeps official registers, classifications, licences, and inspections separate from the file.

  1. Match the displayed business categories

SphereScout selects public business profiles matching the categories shown in the current page breakdown. These labels define the file's scope but do not replace official activity codes or authorizations.

  2. Structure available public details

SphereScout organizes the available business name, category, location, website, email, phone, and public profile fields, then normalizes and deduplicates contact values for export.

  3. Publish coverage and deliver the CSV

SphereScout refreshes public business profiles regularly, publishes the latest collection date and available coverage totals, and delivers the selected records as a structured CSV.

Using professional contacts in France

CNIL states that B2B electronic prospecting may rely on legitimate interests when the message relates to the recipient's profession. Buying a file does not transfer responsibility for your campaign to the data provider.

Read CNIL's electronic prospecting guidance
  • Confirm that the offer and message are relevant to the recipient's professional activity.
  • Inform the person about the use of their data, including when contact details came from a third party.
  • Identify the advertiser clearly and provide a simple, free objection mechanism in every message.
  • Respect objections and maintain an appropriate suppression list for your processing.
  • Since 11 August 2026, telephone prospecting to consumers generally requires prior consent. This change must not be presented as blanket permission to call every number in a professional contact file.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the file contain restaurant customers?
No. It contains public profiles and contact routes for establishments. It provides no diner email, reservation, order, loyalty-account or venue-subscriber data.
Which French venue types are included?
The live breakdown defines the scope. It includes restaurants, cuisine-led venues, quick service, cafes, bars, caterers, patisseries and event locations, so it is broader than traditional restaurants alone.
Does every restaurant have an email?
No. Some public profiles expose email while others provide only a site or telephone route. Compare the live establishment, unique-email and phone totals, then inspect the sample columns before purchasing.
Does the CSV identify each owner or manager?
Not as a guaranteed field. Emails and phones are public business contact routes; the file does not promise a named owner, manager, chef or buyer.
Is this a Sirene, licence or Alim'confiance export?
No. Sirene and NAF describe official units and activities, licences govern matters including alcohol sales, and Alim'confiance publishes inspection outcomes. SphereScout is a separate category-based business-contact file.
