What is included in the Hungary restaurant prospect file?

This downloadable B2B file covers public profiles for restaurants, bars, fast-food venues, cafes, pizzerias, coffee shops, event venues, and smaller foodservice formats across Hungary. It reports email and telephone coverage separately and does not contain diners, bookings, official registrations, or named buyers.

What one row represents

A row is a publicly listed restaurant, bar, cafe, caterer, or related venue profile. For an independent place, its published route usually goes straight to the people running the operation; a multi-site brand may centralise bookings or administration. It is not a Company Register, NAV, TEÁOR, NTAK, or FELIR record.

Venue mix and contact fields

General restaurants form the largest group, followed by bars, fast-food restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, coffee shops, event venues, hamburger restaurants, and the smaller cuisine-led and catering categories in the live breakdown.

CSV columns supplied when available

Venue mix and contact fields

  • When published on the source profile, a row can include venue name, public categories, street address, county or region, city or locality, postcode, website, social links, email, and telephone.

Information not delivered

  • No assured owner, manager, chef, buyer, job title, parent group, franchise status, employee count, or turnover.
  • Company or entrepreneur registration numbers, tax number, legal form, status, TEÁOR code, NTAK or FELIR registration, permits, inspections, and consent records are not included.

CSV columns supplied when available

  • Listed venue name and public restaurant or hospitality labels
  • Street, county or region, city or locality, and postcode details
  • Website, visible social channels, and public-profile links
  • Published business email when found
  • Published business telephone when found

Hungary-wide file or a defined sales route?

Combine venue type with available county, Budapest district, settlement, city, address, and postcode data. A supplier can map pizzerias around a delivery route, cafes in central Budapest, or event venues across a regional service area. Legal form, TEÁOR, NTAK, FELIR, employees, and turnover are not filters in this export.

Use Hungary's contact coverage where it is strongest

Telephone coverage is substantially broader than email across the full selection, while general restaurants and event venues contribute much of the email inventory. Build email work only from email-bearing rows and use the larger venue set for territory planning, website qualification, and phone-led sales.

How SphereScout prepares this business contact CSV

SphereScout turns public business profiles into a category-and-location export. The process uses the business categories shown in the current page breakdown and keeps official registers, classifications, licences, and inspections separate from the file.

  1. Match the displayed business categories

SphereScout selects public business profiles matching the categories shown in the current page breakdown. These labels define the file's scope but do not replace official activity codes or authorizations.

  2. Structure available public details

SphereScout organizes the available business name, category, location, website, email, phone, and public profile fields, then normalizes and deduplicates contact values for export.

  3. Publish coverage and deliver the CSV

SphereScout refreshes public business profiles regularly, publishes the latest collection date and available coverage totals, and delivers the selected records as a structured CSV.

Using business contacts in Hungary

Hungary's electronic-advertising opt-in rule applies when advertising by email or an equivalent direct channel is addressed to a natural person. A company as a non-natural person falls outside the GDPR definition of personal data, but a sole trader, named employee, or person-linked mailbox requires both the applicable channel permission and a GDPR basis. Classify the recipient and mailbox ownership before sending.

Read the NMHH guidance on electronic advertising
  • Normalize names, addresses, websites, and domains, then match companies through the official company-information service and individual entrepreneurs through the NAV register. Keep the identifier, status, address evidence, and match confidence; no match means unresolved.
  • Confirm that the mailbox belongs to the matched company rather than a natural person. A role inbox on the company's own domain is strong evidence; Gmail and other webmail require ownership checks but do not prove sole-trader status.
  • Do not send unsolicited electronic advertising to a natural person without prior clear and explicit consent or another specifically applicable statutory route. Publication of an address is not consent.
  • Where a record identifies a person, document the GDPR lawful basis, necessity, expectations, and safeguards, provide the required information, and stop direct marketing after an objection.
  • Identify the sender, keep the offer relevant to the recipient's business activity, provide a simple free unsubscribe route, and apply one suppression list before every campaign.
  • Telephone outreach has separate direct-marketing and consumer rules. Confirm recipient status, channel permission, caller identity, and prior objections before calling; do not reuse the email classification as automatic call permission.

Classify the file before email outreach

Company with confirmed business mailbox
EvidenceA strong Company Register match identifies an active company, while its current website or address ties the mailbox to that company rather than to a named person.
Email treatmentRelevant B2B email can be addressed to the company without treating the company data as personal data. Identify the sender, provide a free opt-out, and apply GDPR controls if any other field identifies a person.
Natural recipient or individual entrepreneur
EvidenceThe NAV register, address, or mailbox identifies an individual entrepreneur, named employee, or another natural recipient.
Email treatmentDo not send unsolicited electronic advertising without documented prior consent or another specifically applicable statutory route. Retain the permission evidence and honor withdrawal.
Business or mailbox unresolved
EvidenceThe company match is weak, the trading name differs, mailbox ownership is unclear, a webmail address is uncorroborated, or the source is stale.
Email treatmentVerify or exclude before email. Do not infer a company from a domain alone or an individual entrepreneur from a registry non-match.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every Hungarian restaurant profile include an email?
No. Hungary's selection contains far more venues than email addresses, and telephone reaches a larger share. Filter for a populated email field first, then classify who owns that mailbox before including the row in a campaign.
Can I target Budapest and Hungarian counties separately?
Use available county or region, Budapest district, settlement, city, address, and postcode values. Not every row is guaranteed to contain each administrative level as a normalized field.
Is each row one registered Hungarian company?
Not necessarily. One company or individual entrepreneur can operate several venues, while a row represents a public business or location profile. Company and entrepreneur registration numbers are not included.
Does the CSV prove NTAK or FELIR registration?
No. Hungarian catering establishments have separate official registration and food-chain obligations. The export neither includes nor verifies NTAK or FELIR records.
Can I cold-email every address in the file?
No. First establish whether the message is addressed to a company or a natural person. Natural-person electronic advertising generally requires prior clear and explicit consent; company mailboxes still need sender identification, opt-out handling, relevance, and suppression, with GDPR duties whenever another field identifies a person.
