What is included in the Greece restaurant prospect file?
This downloadable business file covers public profiles for Greek restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, bars, pizzerias, fast-food venues, event spaces, caterers, patisseries, and narrower foodservice formats. Email and telephone availability are counted separately; diners, bookings, licences, and named buyers are not included.
What one row represents
Each row represents a publicly listed restaurant, cafe, bar, caterer, or related venue. An independent location's contact route usually reaches the owner or operating team; a group can centralize reservations or administration. The row is not a GEMI company record, AFM record, KAD classification, or OpenBusiness notification.
Venue mix and fields in the file
General restaurants lead the email inventory, while cafes and coffee shops create a much larger prospecting universe for coffee, equipment, payments, and recurring service. Bars, pizzerias, fast food, event venues, patisseries, and smaller cuisine-led formats remain visible in the live breakdown.

- No guaranteed owner, manager, chef, purchaser, job title, hotel group, franchise relationship, employee count, or revenue.
- GEMI and AFM numbers, legal form, status, KAD code, OpenBusiness notification, permits, inspections, and email-consent records are excluded.

One national file or several Greek sales territories?
Combine operating format with available region, regional unit, municipality, island, city, address, and postcode data. Suppliers can separate year-round Athens accounts from Crete, Rhodes, Corfu, Cyclades, or mainland routes without pretending that seasonality or opening months are supplied fields. GEMI status, KAD, permits, employees, turnover, and seasonality are not export filters.

Split Greek foodservice by the way each venue operates
The file's strongest distinction is not simply restaurant versus non-restaurant. Greece has a very large cafe and coffee-shop layer, substantial bar coverage, and island markets where route economics and seasonality matter. Check the current website before assigning the offer.

Design the route around Greece's contact coverage
Telephone coverage is far broader than email, and general restaurants supply most of the email inventory. Use email-bearing rows only where permission exists; use the wider listing set for account research, island or mainland territory design, websites, and compliant phone-led qualification.
Food, drink, and consumables distributors
Separate dense urban rounds from ferry-dependent island routes, then group venues by format and realistic delivery frequency.
Category, region, regional unit, locality, postcode, address, website, and telephone
Coffee, kitchen, and refrigeration suppliers
Start with the cafe and coffee-shop layer for beverage equipment, then build separate restaurant and quick-service service plans.
Venue category, location, website, telephone, and published email where permission exists
Restaurant technology and payment teams
Write different propositions for table service, cafes, bars, takeaway, delivery, catering, and event operations instead of one HORECA message.
Category, website, social links, venue location, and available contact route
Territory and seasonal account planning
Use regional-unit and island coverage to identify accounts, then verify current opening periods and operator details before assigning visits or campaigns.
Region or regional unit, island or locality, address, category, website, and telephone
How SphereScout prepares this business contact CSV
SphereScout turns public business profiles into a category-and-location export. The process uses the business categories shown in the current page breakdown and keeps official registers, classifications, licences, and inspections separate from the file.
Match the displayed business categories
SphereScout selects public business profiles matching the categories shown in the current page breakdown. These labels define the file's scope but do not replace official activity codes or authorizations.
Structure available public details
SphereScout organizes the available business name, category, location, website, email, phone, and public profile fields, then normalizes and deduplicates contact values for export.
Publish coverage and deliver the CSV
SphereScout refreshes public business profiles regularly, publishes the latest collection date and available coverage totals, and delivers the selected records as a structured CSV.
Using business contacts in Greece
Article 11 of Greek Law 3471/2006 requires prior consent for unsolicited direct-marketing email to subscribers, and its subscriber definition includes natural and legal persons. The limited exception is for contact details lawfully obtained through a sale or similar transaction for the sender's own similar offers, with a free opt-out at collection and in every message. A company mailbox, generic address, GEMI match, or legitimate-interest assessment does not remove this channel rule.
Read Article 11 of Law 3471/2006- Separate records with documented prior electronic-marketing consent from public contacts that have no permission record. SphereScout does not supply consent evidence.
- Use the existing-customer exception only when your organization obtained the address through its own sale or similar transaction, markets its own similar products or services, and offered a simple free objection both at collection and in every message.
- Do not treat a GEMI match, company domain, role inbox, webmail address, or published business contact as consent. These details help identify the recipient but do not create email permission.
- Where a record identifies a person, document the GDPR lawful basis and provide the required privacy information. Legitimate interests can support personal-data processing only when the separate electronic-marketing rule is also met.
- State the sender clearly, provide a valid free opt-out route, stop after withdrawal or objection, and screen one suppression list before every campaign.
- Live marketing calls follow a separate objection-based rule under Article 11. Check the provider's opt-out directory and your own suppression records, identify the caller, and stop after an objection; email permission cannot be inferred from call eligibility.
