What is covered by the Australian healthcare list?

The Australian file is a business-location dataset spanning medical, dental, mental-health, allied-health, pharmacy, optical, nursing, and animal-health categories. It is not the Ahpra register and does not establish a practitioner's registration, qualifications, specialty, or authority to practise.

What one Australian row represents

One public business or location profile. Depending on the setting, that may be an independent practitioner business, group practice, clinic, pharmacy, therapy location, dental office, or veterinary provider; the record is not a separate registration entry for every practitioner working there.

Included service settings

Medical clinics and practitioners, dental businesses, psychology and counselling, allied-health services, pharmacies, opticians, nursing services, and animal-health categories shown in the live composition.

Export fields available when published

Included service settings

  • Available public business names, categories, addresses, suburbs, states, postcodes, websites, emails, phones, and profile links.

Outside the product scope

  • Ahpra registration records, practitioner numbers, qualifications, endorsements, conditions, specialties, languages, employer affiliations, or a complete health-workforce census.
  • Patient, Medicare, referral, appointment, prescription, treatment, or other clinical information.

Export fields available when published

  • Business or location name and public categories
  • Street address, suburb, state, and postcode
  • Website and public profile links
  • Email addresses
  • Telephone numbers

National healthcare file or selected Australian market?

Use the complete file when your offer spans several healthcare settings. Use custom selection for a defined category and territory, such as physiotherapists in Victoria, medical clinics in selected Sydney postcodes, or pharmacies across chosen regional centres.

How SphereScout prepares this business contact CSV

SphereScout turns public business profiles into a category-and-location export. The process uses the business categories shown in the current page breakdown and keeps official registers, classifications, licences, and inspections separate from the file.

  1. Match the displayed business categories

SphereScout selects public business profiles matching the categories shown in the current page breakdown. These labels define the file's scope but do not replace official activity codes or authorizations.

  2. Structure available public details

SphereScout organizes the available business name, category, location, website, email, phone, and public profile fields, then normalizes and deduplicates contact values for export.

  3. Publish coverage and deliver the CSV

SphereScout refreshes public business profiles regularly, publishes the latest collection date and available coverage totals, and delivers the selected records as a structured CSV.

Using business contacts in Australia

Buying a marketing list does not transfer Spam Act consent. The sender remains responsible for proving express or valid inferred consent for every commercial email or message, identifying the sender, and providing a working unsubscribe route.

Read ACMA's Spam Act guidance
  • Keep recipient-level evidence of express consent or document why inferred consent applies to the relationship, role, and message.
  • Treat a publicly listed role address as inferred consent only when the message is relevant to that role and the publication does not reject unsolicited marketing.
  • Identify the authorizing business accurately and keep its contact details valid for at least 30 days after sending.
  • Provide a clear, free unsubscribe method, keep it functional for at least 30 days, and action requests within five working days.
  • Do not use or supply lists created with address-harvesting software.
  • Business telephone numbers used primarily for business cannot generally be added to the Do Not Call Register, but private or mixed-use numbers can be protected. Classify numbers before calling, wash lists when required, and follow the national calling-time, caller-ID, identification, and termination rules even for numbers not on the register.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the Ahpra register?
No. Ahpra is the source for registration status and professional details. SphereScout supplies public business-location and contact data and does not certify practitioner registration.
Does the list contain individual practitioners or practices?
It primarily contains public business and location profiles. An independent practice may closely match one practitioner, while a clinic or group may represent many people behind one record.
Are patient or Medicare records included?
No. Patient identities, Medicare information, referrals, appointments, prescriptions, and clinical records are outside the export.
Can I select businesses by state or postcode?
Yes, use the custom-list route for a chosen category and geography. The ready-made file contains the broader Australian healthcare mix displayed here.
