How SphereScout prepares this business contact CSV

SphereScout turns public business profiles into a category-and-location export. The process uses the business categories shown in the current page breakdown and keeps official registers, classifications, licences, and inspections separate from the file.

  1. Match the displayed business categories

SphereScout selects public business profiles matching the categories shown in the current page breakdown. These labels define the file's scope but do not replace official activity codes or authorizations.

  2. Structure available public details

SphereScout organizes the available business name, category, location, website, email, phone, and public profile fields, then normalizes and deduplicates contact values for export.

  3. Publish coverage and deliver the CSV

SphereScout refreshes public business profiles regularly, publishes the latest collection date and available coverage totals, and delivers the selected records as a structured CSV.

Using business contacts in Greece

Article 11 of Greek Law 3471/2006 requires prior consent for unsolicited direct-marketing email to subscribers, and its subscriber definition includes natural and legal persons. The limited exception is for contact details lawfully obtained through a sale or similar transaction for the sender's own similar offers, with a free opt-out at collection and in every message. A company mailbox, generic address, GEMI match, or legitimate-interest assessment does not remove this channel rule.

Read Article 11 of Law 3471/2006
  • Separate records with documented prior electronic-marketing consent from public contacts that have no permission record. SphereScout does not supply consent evidence.
  • Use the existing-customer exception only when your organization obtained the address through its own sale or similar transaction, markets its own similar products or services, and offered a simple free objection both at collection and in every message.
  • Do not treat a GEMI match, company domain, role inbox, webmail address, or published business contact as consent. These details help identify the recipient but do not create email permission.
  • Where a record identifies a person, document the GDPR lawful basis and provide the required privacy information. Legitimate interests can support personal-data processing only when the separate electronic-marketing rule is also met.
  • State the sender clearly, provide a valid free opt-out route, stop after withdrawal or objection, and screen one suppression list before every campaign.
  • Live marketing calls follow a separate objection-based rule under Article 11. Check the provider's opt-out directory and your own suppression records, identify the caller, and stop after an objection; email permission cannot be inferred from call eligibility.

Classify the file before email outreach

Documented prior consent
EvidenceA current, specific, attributable permission record covers electronic marketing from your organization to this subscriber.
Email treatmentSend only within the stated scope. Identify the sender, include a free opt-out, retain the permission record, and suppress immediately after withdrawal.
Eligible existing customer
EvidenceYour organization obtained the address through its own sale or similar transaction, the offer is for its own similar products or services, and the recipient received the required opt-out at collection.
Email treatmentThe limited existing-customer route can apply. Include the free opt-out in every message and do not extend the exception to bought or scraped contacts.
Public contact without permission evidence
EvidenceThe address came from a public profile, third-party list, website, GEMI match, generic inbox, or another source that provides no attributable consent or qualifying customer relationship.
Email treatmentDo not send unsolicited marketing email. Use the data for account research, territory planning, compliant calls, direct mail, or permission-building activity instead.
